Raised my rate from 9.99% in to 23.99% on the March '08 statement without warning. I was one day late on my December '07 payment, paid the late fee AND paid off the entire balance of over $3000, and yet they still felt I was a risk. Terrible customer service, very unhelpful overseas call center. On the first call I was transferred to an "APR specialist" who promised that the rate would return to normal if I kept making payments (even though I had paid the entire balance). On the second call, I asked for an APR specialist and was told that they don't have anything like that, and that there was nopthing that they could do. Needless to say, I cancelled the card right then and there. Avoid at all costs!

Juniper "BAIT and SWITCH" 

 

we were issued a card with a nice 11.9% rate and 2700.00$ limit until... 

we tried to use it to pay for an emergency transmission job. then, because we tried to withdraw cash, the limit went to 500.00 . According to costomer service in India " It never was 2700." and they transfered me to a recording when i asked for an explanation. then on our first statement the interest was changed to 21.99%. they have since used fees to put us over the limit twice and the minimum payment won't get us back under so they can charge again. nice trick, and i thought loan sharking was illegal.
